Our Mission

The Putnam family has deep rooted ties in both agriculture and Maine. Laura, who has lived in Falmouth her whole life, has pursued a career as a horse trainer. She has been caring for animals and land from a young age. Evan was raised on a dairy farm in New Hampshire and has devoted his life to farming and the preservation of farmland. Their two sons, Clayton (4) and Dawson (2), have spent the majority of their lives in and around the multiple farms Laura and Evan own or manage. With the passion of Maine Agriculture being the focus of the Putnam's lives, Hurricane Meadows Fall Festival is their opportunity to showcase the importance of both open spaces and agriculture in Maine communities. Laura and Evan are both strong advocates for the Maine way of life and for supporting those who work tirelessly to feed the American people and the American dream. Because of this, each year they partner with a cause or organization to raise awareness for their specific mission and provide a portion of the proceeds towards their fund. Because of the community involvement, the Hurricane Meadows fall festival has been able to donate thousands of dollars to organizations that make up the fabric of our small Maine communities. Together with your support, The Putnam family and Hurricane Meadows look forward to being an integral part of the bond between Maine families, Maine agriculture, and Maine organizations that make us the strong communities we are in this great state.

We will be honored to have you spend the day with your family and friends at our 3rd Annual Corn Maze and Fall Fun Festival beginning September 13th!  We love sharing our farm and look forward to meeting you!!
